Lessons for every level
At Arthur Murray Bondi, we have lessons suitable for every level, even if you've never danced a step in your life! We tailor our lessons and classes to meet your needs and budget, so you'll never feel overwhelmed. Book your first lesson! Come in and enjoy a one-on-one lesson with one of our friendly and experienced instructors. During the class, we will evaluate your needs and personal circumstances to create the perfect dance plan for you.
During class
You will be joined by one of our talented instructors for a 45 minute one-on-one lesson, held communally on the main dance floor with other students having their own private lessons. This way you will experience what it is like to dance socially, with other people constantly moving around you. Don't worry, you will learn at your own pace and learn the skills and techniques of individual or partner dancing. These lessons are booked with your instructor at times that suit you throughout the week from Monday to Saturday.
Beginners program
In your first program at Arthur Murray Bondi, you will be introduced to the most important dances (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing) and taught how to dance them at a beginner level. Emphasis in your lessons will be placed on 3 important elements: (1) foot position (2) rhythm and timing, and (3) leading or responding with enough variety to keep your learning experience interesting and fun.
Professional instructors
All our teachers have been specially selected to work at Arthur Murray Bondi because they are the best in the industry. We choose talented, passionate and professional teachers. Although the majority of our teachers have been dancing since before they could walk, they still undergo a rigorous training program used across the world in over 300 Arthur Murray locations.
Group lessons
All of our groups are based on your level, and since we have over 6 different levels, there's a group (or more) for you every single week!
Focusing on 1 or 2 dances, they are not confusing or overwhelming. They are there to help you reinforce what you have learned in lessons and you will also get used to dancing with other students and teachers. At Arthur Murray, we focus on social dancing: learning to dance, lead and respond to anyone. It is a fundamental part of your learning experience.
